i'd still catch a grenade for ya

Sorry the photos are too big for my blog... the different sizes were really really bothering me so I just made them bigger. :P Anyways, it was my mom's birthday yesterday! My parents took me, Amanda and Olivia out to dinner! Why we got dressed up to go to Legal Seafood... I don't know. But it was fun to put on a nice dress and big wedges!

take me or leave me

I apologize for my posts being all over the place. I recently missed a whole week of school and am basically drowning in school work. I decided to put school before my blog, which is why I've been absent. On another note, I saw a production of RENT Friday night! It's probably one of my favorite shows, but I'd never seen it as a show, only as a movie. Oh my goodness it was amazing! I can't stop singing the music now!
Anyways, these are a few pictures of my outfit earlier in the week. I bought these black shorts a few weeks ago and I loooooove them! So comfortable!

high-waisted shorts

My favorite thing in the whole wide world right now. I cannot wait for warmer weather!! I'm so excited to pair these high-waisted beauties with crop tops, tees, and floral tanks! If I could, I would literally buy twenty different pairs. My favorite is obviously the denim since I can never get enough of it, but the lace and leather are bold styles that I would also love to try! Sorry for the unannounced blogging break! I've been sick and doing tons of makeup work the past two weeks! I have a super busy week this week, but hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in some late-night posts! Hope you had a lovely weekend! xxx

floral headpiece

I think I tried to make these once...and ended up holding a string of crinkly flowers in my palm. I spotted these all over tumblr today. I think they're truly beautiful, if you can get them to stay! They seem to add a  pretty vibe to any ensemble. Definitely going to try and construct a successful headpiece this spring!
